Mahfoza Shtayeh - Righting a Wrong

Who can forget this photo and this woman Mahfoza Shtayeh from Salem Village. PCWF provided tools, sheep, trees and a water well to try to right the wrong that was committed. She says " Allah bless the ones who bought the sheep, brought the sheep, thought of the sheep and accompanied the sheep". Also, she mentions that some people came to visit her and promised her a lot and NOTHIING came out of it..the settlers cut down her trees an she tied herself to the tree and said : " cut me with the tree if you will cut this tree" and that is when the soldiers were shocked with her courage and stopped the settlers..
